Originated in Russia, Yana started dancing at the age of 6, first - Classical Ballet, later - Folk dance. In 1990 Yana graduated at Novosibirsk College of Arts and Culture, receiving Diploma with Distinction in Dance Teaching and Choreography. During her studies, she has trained in Classical Ballet (Vaganova method), Folk Dance, Character Dance, Jazz, Ballroom Dance and Tap. While living in UK, she continued her ballet training and went on studying RAD Ballet syllabus, successfully passed Elementary level Examination and completed Comprehensive Graded Syllabus Course for teachers.

June 2011 - attended Classical Ballet Teacher’s Seminar – Vaganova Ballet Academy, St.Petersburg, Russia.

Yana Auger has been teaching dance for 12 years. 1993-98 - she had her own dance school in Kinshasa, Congo; teaching Creative Dance, Classical Ballet, Modern, Jazz and organizing end of the year performances. 2005-07 - she was teaching Creative Dance and Pre-Ballet in Tervuren, Belgium.

Since June 2008, she’s teaching in Johannesburg: Creative Dance, Pre-Ballet, Ballet, Historical and Character Dance.
